Sullia: 38-year-old man beaten to death after alleged misbehaviour

Sullia, Apr 20: A youth was stamped to death by two neighbors here at Jalsoor, near Kadiyadka late at night on Friday April 18.

The deceased has been identified as Abdurazak (38). The Sullia police have arrested the suspected, Bapunja alias Bachappa (46) and Sulaiman (57), residents of Kadiyadka.

Reports state that the murder intent was that Abdurazak was misbehaving with Bapunja's wife over the phone.

On Friday night, the arrested took Abdurazak, who was in Jalsoor town, to Kadiyadka by bike. Here, the duo stamped Abdurazak and thrashed him using a thick wooden stick. In the bargain, when the duo kicked Abdurazak’s private parts, he is said to have died on the spot.

Based on the evidence, the police immediately arrested Bapunja and Sulaiman. On Saturday April 19, the police brought them before the magistrate and they were later taken to custody.

The reports further state that the deceased and the arrested are neighbors. It is suspected that due to the repeated phone calls by Abdurazak to Bapunja’s wife which irked the duo.

The deceased Abdurazak was a rickshaw driver. However, after the rickshaw recently met with an accident, he is said to have been at home. Based on the compliant filed by Abdurahman, brother of deceased Abdurazak, police are investigating the case.

    Why to kick the private parts when the fault is in their head!!
    Though in my personal opinion, it's a good decision. When Government part fail to give justice, then Private part gets the punishment!!
