Mangalore, Jun 19: A bike rider was killed on the spot when a lorry knocked him down at Nagankatte near Tokkottu near here on Sunday June 18 night.
The deceased has been identified as Wilson Rego (33), a resident of Kuttar-Ranipura near Derlakatte here. He was an employee with Airtel here.
On Sunday night he was on his way back home riding his mobike from city when a lorry speeding from Kasargod to the city hit him. As a result Wilson fell on the road and sustained serious injuries in his head and died on the spot.
The Ullal police have registered a case in this regard.
