Basseterre, St Kitts, Jun 17: After bad weather and Brian Lara held them to another frustrating draw, Team India began their preparations for the third Test here within six hours of their arrival.
Rahul Dravid's men were originally scheduled to take a four-day break in St Maarten but have instead chosen to arrive here and take just a day's rest before starting their workout for the next match on June 22.
However, nothing strenuous has been planned and the regular pool and gym sessions have been designed to keep the players match fit.
After their arrival yesterday, the Indians was huddled together in a hurriedly called half hour meeting to discuss the perfect combination for the third of the four-match series. And even after the players had left, coach Greg Chappell stayed back with the support staff -- consisting of Kinesiologist Ian Frazer, Physio John Gloster and trainer Greg King - for further 30 minutes in which the fitness report of the whole team was discussed.
The bowling combination dominated most part of the discussion and the visitors discussed whether to stick with their three seamers and one spinner combination or induct an extra bowler in the playing eleven.
Meanwhile, S Sreesanth is expected to be in contention for the next game after missing the previous match due to a sore heel.
