Kundapur: Congress and BJP flex muscles through simultaneous rallies

Kundapur, Apr 15: Both BJP and Congress organized their respective shows of strength at Shastri Circle here on Monday April 14 with the aim of showcasing their might just a day before public campaigning for the election is set to end.

A motor bike rally comprising Congress workers, which began its journey from Halady and reached the town through Bidkalkatte and Koteshwar, returned after making its way through the main road inside the town.

On this occasion, BJP workers, under the leadership of BJP candidate, Shobha Karandlaje, who had prepared to organize a Padayatra, had congregated at Shastri Circle. As the arrival of Shobha got delayed, the BJP activists had to wait on the road.

When the Congress activists participating in the bike rally and BJP activists waiting on the road came face to face at Shastri Circle, both sides raised slogans to the peak of their respective abilities.

Shobha reached the spot after the Congress rally moved past this point. She thereafter took part in the Padayatra.

Activists from both the parties felt that the police department should not have issued permissions to both the parties to organize rallies on a single day. There was an air of apprehension about the possibility of a major confrontation taking place between activists from both the sides. As activists from both the sides showed patience and did not lose composure, this was averted, they opine.

I want Modi to be PM. Bit I don't want to vote this Shobha S. She is a disgrace. Corrupt and only ideology is follow Yediyurappa. How can I vote her. If BJP had nominated any person with clean history I would have blindly voted. But not for this person. JPH is 100 times better in all respect.

    SHOBHA - BJP > KJP > BJP.
Isnt she the same Shobha hopped from BJP to Kjp during State elections.
Is she not the one who spoke against women during the Home stay attack.
Is she not the one who acquired enormous wealth within a short span of 4 years.
What type of development, progress, women welfare you expect from such a selfish candidate.

    Mr.Vicky,
she is also big corrupt Lady.
don't vote for her. Shobha Karandlaje possesses more than 100 crores rupees worth property. But she has cheated by not declaring it in her affidavit along with the election nomination. She had joined as an employee in the BJP office for just Rs 2,000 salary and today she possesses crores of rupees worth property.

Even they are not using water due to avoid shortage of water (summer month), use only air because they are so concerned towards nation by fooling the educated people of India (Mr. Jossey).
Congress is truly Dongi & kicked them out from this nation once for all.
