what a tragic incident. Every day we see such accidents and I see a lot of comments given by readers of Daiji here. but the worst part is that it just remains in the portal. no authorities nor required officials make a note and try to do something. It happened for a police family and still it will go below the carpet after a day or two. There are so many improvements could be done. but who has to do. yes, we can make the alert call when someone is driving rash or any such incident. but will the authorities take action against them ? It's still suspense.

Very sad indeed. This incident happened mainly because of narrow road and sharp curves. Bajpe to Moorukavery road is with so many sharp curves and narrow road. I am requesting all elected MLA's & MP's to do something for these roads.

Everyone screams and cries over death and injury, but no one does anything when tippers and buses drive threatening the lives of the public. How many of you have called PCR or Police traffic Station when you see the problem. At Nanthoor junction every morning Pickup trucks are loading Laborers like goats. Sometime 15 to 18 in one truck. Tippers are carrying Dirt in open without cover while rocks tumble and fall on the road. Buses are overloaded and tilted on one side while traveling on the zigzag road from Neermarga to BC Road through the Hills. Also Young students of Karavali College are traveling on top of Bus which is waiting for a day when many families will be crying in front of College for dead Children. It will not be very far.

I call and inform the authorities when needed to do so. I request every Honest and caring Citizen to call and inform authorities. Call 222-0800 and inform so your Heart will be clean.

I do feel sad for the incident took place,while the family is returning from Kateel temple.I too agree that it is the fault of tipper driver,who rammed into the Honda activa,killing two on the spot and injuring two.At the same time it is the fault of the family also to travel four people in one Honda activa.Nobody think about this would happen before it happens in real terms.Question of time and fate.Result is two died,one in serious condition and one escaped with minor injuries.Here in India there is no strict traffic rules, unlike in Gulf countries,where blood money rules followed by court cases.If the same rule is implemented here in India,especially in Mangalore,large number of accidents can be averted.But here corruption does not permit it,which rules the traffic.Anyhow I Pray Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed souls and speedy recovery of the people who are undergoing treatment in hospital.

Its time these bus/ truck/tipper drivers are penalized heavily. The minimum they should get 7 years in jail and made to compensate for the loss of lives.
Because of them, many people are dying untimely deaths.

It is the fault of our Government and traffic department that who encourage these drunkards/killer Drivers and owners of the scrap type Vehicles plying in the narrow/curved roads without proper safety standard.People must come forward to teach a lesson such culprits.

Sad indeed. The tipper lorry driver should be punished and his licence should be suspended for at least for two years, if this is a first accident and cancelled if a repetition.

And an overloading ride on a two wheeler is also risky and could pose fatality.

The road itself is very narrow and with it's dangerous curving.Slow drive and careful drive is only can save from such accidents the familiarity of the road is an added advantage itself.A tragic incident 'May their soul rest in peace'.
