Bangalore, Apr 9: Congress on Wednesday April 9 accused Kumaraswamy of not disclosing his second wife Radhika Kumaraswamy's assets before Election Commission while declaring his own assets and that of his first wife Anitha at the time of filing his nomination.
KPCC legal cell president Dhananjay said that Kumaraswamy declared only his first wife Anitha Kumaraswamy's assets, but failed to disclose Radhika's account.
"Kumaraswamy has filed a false affidavit with the EC, this is against the Constitution. Radhika has a huge amount of black money, assets, and gold. The Election Commission must reject the candidature of Kumaraswamy who is contesting from Chikkaballapur," Dhananjay said, addressing a press conference in Bangalore.
He urged the EC to seek complete asset details of Radhika. "If the state EC fails to take action, I will complain to the Central Election Commission" he warned.
