Udupi, Jun 14: Three days after communal clashes broke out in Padukere village here, life has returned to normalcy though some areas in Kandloor are still tense and under strict police vigil.
Ban orders in Padukere are still in place while revenue officers have begun estimating the loss incurred during the clashes.
On Sunday midnight violence had broken out here when two groups began quarrelling over the issue of hoisting a flag near a temple. As many as twelve people had been a injured and later 10 persons were arrested in this connection.
