Kundapur: Youth from Dharwad dies as car smashes into tree

Kundapur, Apr 6: A youth from Dharwad died when the Innova car he was travelling in rammed into a tree and overturned beside the state highway at Virajpet in Byndoor here on Sunday April 6.

The deceased has been identified as Manjunath (24).

Manjunath along with his friends Eranna, Raghavendra, Ravi, Adrashya, Mahesha, Sanju and Mahesh were travelling by Innova car from Murdeshwar to Sringeri when the accident took place.

All of them are residents of Talavahi in Dharward.

The accident took place near Hanja cross at Madamakki.

Amasebail police have registered a case based on complaint by Mahesha.
