Karnataka election campaign: When stars come out in daytime...

Daiijiworld Media Network

Bangalore, Apr 5 : The glam quotient on the election campaign field seems to be an all-time high in the state, with not only Sandalwood stars, but even noted actors from Bollywood and other film industries entering the battle. Campaigning for Lok Sabha polls is getting hotter by the day in the scorching sun and humid conditions around Karnataka, but that doesn't seem to deter the stars nor the candidates or their supporters.

Here is a photo feature of stars who have descended into the streets to campaign for various parties.

Bollywood hero Vivek Oberoi has come to support his mother-in-law Nandini Alva of JD(S), wife of late JD(S) leader Jeevaraj Alva.

Kannada actress Bhavana, Jayamala and Bhavya are campaigning for Congress party in the various parts of Karnataka.

MLC Tara is campaigning for her party BJP in Bangalore, while actress Rakshitha was in Davangere to campaign for the same party.

Ramya, former number one Kannada actress is herself a candidate in Mandya from Congress.

Actor and Congress leader Kumar Bangarappa, son of former Karnataka CM Bangarappa has been campaigning for Congress candidate Manjunath Bhandary in Shimoga. On the other side, Kumar's brother Madhu Bangarappa is campaigning for his sister JD(S) candidate Geetha Shivraj Kumar, wife of Sandalwood star Shivaraj Kumar.

Hehehehhe.. so this is how the so-called stars look, eh?

Almost all the women stars look like they have a coat of Nerolac several inches thick.

Even that little kid looks terrified of that clown called Vivek Oberoi.

Make Hay while the Sun shines. This is true of our so called stars. They are not campaigning just for free or without any reason. They have dotted down their benefits if the party they support wins. You win and this is what I want. The public are fools going behind them.

Good luck to all candidates vying to get a seat in the Lok Sabha. I liked the picture of Vivek Oberoi is holding the beautiful baby up in his arms. Vivek, you are doing a wonderful job as you are my most admired actors. I wish your mother-in-law Nandini Alva all the very best. I hope it is a fair and square election and all the voters will benefit from this.

Everyone should use their voting power to vote and elect the able government.
Actors & Actress must not contest election or campaign for any particular party. All Indians all over India watch their movies. They should not hurt the sentiments of their fans by supporting any particular party. Actors must be neutral and concentrate on acting.
