Sonia Gandhi likely to come to Goa on April 8

Panaji, Apri 5 (TNN): All-India Congress Committee (AICC) president Sonia Gandhi is likely to arrive in Goa on April 8 to campaign for the Congress candidates in the state.

Speaking to TOI, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president John Fernandes said that Gandhi will come to Goa on April 8 and is likely to address a public meeting in North Goa.

He also said that a preparation committee meeting was held in South Goa with regard to Gandhi's public meeting, and that a similar meeting was scheduled for North Goa on Saturday.
