Mangalore, Jun 10: The lokayukta sleuths led by lokayukta SP George Fernandes raided the house of Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP) commandant Krishnappa's house and office on Friday Jun 9.  The reports confirmed that the lokayukta officials are said to have found evidence of illegal property and possession worth Rs 40 lac.

The lokayukta officials raided commandant’s office at Asaigoli near Konaje and his house at Somnathnagar at Ullal simultaneously.  The officials recovered records of property owned illegally by Krishnappa in Davangere and Bangalore districts.  Krishnappa who hails from Ranebennur in Haveri district is said to have acquired huge property and valuables illegally which led the lokayukta officials to raid his office as well as house.

Lokayukta SPs Habib, Ashok and Panchaksharappa from Udupi, Mangalore and Chikamagalur respectively too were present during the raid.
