Dubai, Jun 10: West Indies batting superstar Brian Lara has slipped three places to No 9 in the latest LG ICC Test Player Rankings, his lowest since March 2001, while Indian skipper Rahul Dravid was fourth.
Lara, the world record holder for the highest scores in Test and first-class cricket, struggled in the drawn first Test against India with scores of 18 and nought.

The West Indies skipper was also in dismal form on the three-Test tour of New Zealand earlier this year where he could only manage 90 runs from five innings.
Lara, however, is the only West Indies batsman in the top 20 as Chris Gayle is at 22 with Shivnarine Chanderpaul at 23 and Ramnaresh Sarwan at 30.
Dravid is the only Indian batsman in the top 10 list, which has Ricky Ponting, Jacques Kallis and Inzamam-ul Haq in the top three spots.
Among the bowlers, Muttiah Muralitharan maintained his stranglehold on the top spot followed by Makhaya Ntini and Shane Warne. Ace Indian spinner Anil Kumble was placed eighth.
