Panaji, May 29: Political rumours in Goa flew thick and fast again with reported meeting between union information and broadcasting minister Priyaranjan Dasmunshi and Goa's town and country planning minister Atanasio Moserratte in Mumbai.
This week, Monserratte was on his mission to claim for Goa Pradesh Congress committee (GPCC) chief's post. He along with four legislators had met AICC general secretary Margarrette Alva.
Back in Goa, Monserratte had expressed that positive outcome would come out from the meeting.
Suddenly on Saturday, Monserratte's call on Mumbai reportedly to meet Dasmunshi raised political rumours again. Interesting, Monserratte's meeting with Dasmunshi was on the eve of latter's Goa visit.
The union minister is expected to visit Goa between April 28 to April 30. Though government hand out has confirmed his visit, neither congress organization nor government could furnish purpose of his Goa visit. This has paved a way for speculations over possible GPCC leadership change in the state.
