Margao, May 26 : South Goa district president of Bhartiya Janata Party Manohar Adpaikar, along with Fatorda MLA Damodar Naik and other party workers, on May 25 staged a dharna at the Collecto's building in Margao, protesting against the rising level of terrorism in Kashmir.
The BJP presented the memorandum to Collector South to be forwarded to the president Of India, demanding that Pakistan and terrorist oufits should not be allowed to carry on any more terror attacks. It added that the government should take all necessary measures to contain this menace, while also creating an adequate security mechanism in the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
It is the firm resolve of the BJP that Kashmir has been an inalienable part of India and even an inch of its land would not be allowed to secede from India, said Adpaikar.
The party workers expressed their concern over rising terrorism in Jammu Kashmir, which signals a serious danger to country, he said further.
