Kundapur: Kagodu Thimmappa inaugurates Sri Narayana Guru hall

Kundapur, Feb 3: Karnataka Vidhana Sabha speaker Kagodu Thimmappa inaugurated the newly built Sri Narayana Guru air conditioned auditorium built by Billawa Samaja Seva Sangha (Regd) Kundapur on Saturday, January 1.
 
In a programme held on Saturday morning, January 1 at the Srimathi Thunga Thimma podium at Kundapur Gandhi maidan and presided over by Byndoor MLA K Gopala Poojary, speaker Kagodu Thimmappa lighted the lamp and inaugurated the proceedings.  Moodbidri Bollottu Kshetra’s Sri Vikhyatananda swamy invoked God’s blessings.  The chief guests felicitated the benefactors and donors for the building.



“The contribution to the society lasts forever. So transparency in social work is essential.  Instead of asking what the society has done for us, we should develop the habit of asking what we have done for it. The contribution of Billawa community to the society is noteworthy and youth should inculcate the spirit of service to continue it”, said speaker Kagodu Thimmappa.

Billawa Samaja Sangha Kundapur president N T Poojary welcomed and gave a key note address.  Veena Kotian led the prayer.  Honorary president Suresh S Poojary, N T Poojary and honorary secretary Ganesh Poojary Vittalavadi presented flower bouquets to the guests and felicitated them.  Ravindra Poojary and Narendra Kumar Chowta compered the programme.  Kalpana Bhaskar proposed vote of thanks.
 
Sr Satish Poojary and troupe of Bangalore and coastal region’s well known artistes presented music and national award winner Jnana Aithal and group presented dance programme.
