Kochi, May 13: Sixtytyfour debutants will be entering into the portals of the 12th Kerala Assembly with the 'baby' of the newly elected legislators being 27-year-old Congress student leader P C Vishnunath.
CPI(M) Politburo member and veteran leader 82-year-old V S Achuthananthan, seen widely as LDF's Chief ministerial probable, is the oldest member of the house.
Vishnunath is the KSU State President and currently a fourth year law student in Thiruvananthapuram Law Academy college.
Among the newly elected members, the seniormost is Kerala Congress (M) leader K M Mani, who had won for the 11th consecutive time from his home turf Pala constituency in Kottayam district since the formation of constituency in 1965.
The outgoing Chief minister Oommen Chandy, who won from the Puthupally constituency consecutively for the ninth time, is the second seniormost member of the house.
Besides, the house will have 40 members, who are making their entry for the second time and for 15 members it has been a hat-trick.
