Mangalore, Dec 14: Well-known scholar, politician and economist Dr Subramanian Swamy will deliver a talk on 'The present political situation and relevance of Modi’s leadership', on December 17 at A B Shetty Memorial Hall, Bunts Hostel here, said VHP leader and NaMo Brigade member Jeetendra Kottari, addressing mediapersons here on Friday December 14.
The talk will begin at 6 pm and go on till 8 pm, he said, adding, "We are expecting a gathering of more than 2,000 at the venue. A Raghavendra Rao, president of Srinivas Group of Colleges and Chakravarthi Sulibele of NaMo Brigade will be the chief guests."
He added, "Dr Subramanian is the one who exposed various corrupt and illegal activities of the UPA, including the 2G spectrum scam, demolition of Rama Setu, and the black money in the Swiss Bank and so on. He has been spreading awareness about these issues across the entire nation.
"A Congress-free nation is the prime objective of NaMo Brigade, followed by the major aim of seeing Narendra Modi as the next PM of India. Hence Dr Subramanian Swamy is the right person to speak on these issues and we are delighted to have him on this occasion. The talk has been organized by the NaMo Brigade," he said.
Gopi Bhat, Mangalore convenor of Namo Brigade was also present.
