Daijiworld Media Network - Doha
Doha, Nov 30: Hulikal Nataraj, a headmaster in a school in Doddaballapur in Karnataka, has embarked on a mission to bust myths and miracles by propogating scientific temperament. He has been travelling widely, reaching out people through live shows, TV programmes, articles, books etc in order to prove that, there is nothing called ‘miracle’ and hence everything that happens around and with us, happens with a reason and a cause.
Nataraj was in Doha gracing the maiden Karnataka Rajyotsava celebrations organized by Karnataka Muslim Cultural Association (KCMA) is a premier socio-cultural organization living in Qatar and is affiliated with Indian Embassy in Doha at the Al Maha Boys Academy on Friday November 29 and during a show of two hours left the audience in total awe by busting myth after myth, giving apt scientific explanation and where science not involved, threw light on the ‘technique’ used by these miracle workers which often leaves gullible people in total confusion and fear.
Nataraj demonstrated these ‘miracles’, lucidly explained the underlying scientific principles and added how the godmen were cheating the innocent by performing these ‘miracles’ in the open and claiming to possess divine powers.
He exposed many superstitious beliefs and black magic through simple scientific methods to make people aware of the tricks practiced by the black magicians, self-styled godmen and various other religious beliefs and myths.
On godmen making tricks like making the coconut to stand erect on his palm, deceiving people by showing the water resource through sticks, Nataraj explained that nothing of this was supernatural but pure tricks of fingers and hogwash.
The initiative of the KMCA to hold such an awareness and engaging campaign, instead of going for popular modes of entertainment such as music shows, plays, dance etc, came in for appreciation from the entire gathering.
