Mangalore, Apr 5: The kidnap case of Tassaina (15), daughter Abdul Khader of Jokatte has finally been solved by the Panambur police.
Nazaruddin (19) who had been accused of kidnapping Tassaina was arrested by Panambur police at Kasargod railway station while he was trying to flee to Uttar Pradesh along with Tassaina.
Tassaina, a SSLC student of Vidyadayini High School, Suratkal had fallen in love with Nazaruddin some time ago when he was time keeper for the private buses. Soon they decided to elope to a distant place fearing their parents would not agree for their marriage.
In the meantime, Nazaruddin had left time keeper's job and had joined for a new job. However,, their affair was on without any problem. But they had decided to leave the place and go somewhere else.
Accordingly on Sunday April 2 morning Tassaina left house under the pretext that she is going to the market. Thereafter she never returned home. In the meantime it was found out that Nazaruddin too was missing from his home.
Since Tassaina was still a minor girl, her father filed a kidnap case against Nazaruddin in the Panambur police station. Accordingly, the police began their search and were able to arrest the duo at Kasargod railway station on Tuesday.
Tassaina has now been kept in Remand Home. Both are expected to be produced before the court in a couple of days.
