New Delhi, Oct 18 (IANS): New York-based Goldspot band wants fans to contribute to their latest song "Abyss" by sending their pictures, which can be included in the track's music video.
Siddhartha Khosla, lead singer and the only constant member of the band, is looking forward to the response from their Indian fans.
"We are extremely excited about this initiative by Day 1 and have already been getting a great response. Indian fans have always loved our music and this was our way of getting them to be a part of this album," said Khosla in a statement.
The initiative has been taken by Sony Music's label Day 1, which manages the band. It has joined hands with a travel sharing website Grallo for the campaign.
Conceptualised by Day 1, the initiative invites fans to tweet or instagram pictures of their journey to their favourite music festivals using the hashtag #GoldspotGrallo.
The band will make a collage of them and use it in the video.
Grallo is looking forward to a good response from Goldspot fans, says Tom Ansell, founder, Grallo.
"The single called 'Abyss' is all about happy travelling, which resonates superbly with our work in event transportation," said Ansell.
"We're really excited to collaborate with Sony Music on this initiative and can't wait to see some awesome photos coming from the #GoldspotGrallo campaign. So anyone sharing a journey with friends, get posting," he added.
"Abyss" is the first track of Goldspot's new album "Aerogramme".
