Karkala, Jan 31: A major fire broke out at a cushion shop near Kuntalpady, close to Anekere in Karkala, on Thursday night, resulting in significant damage to goods.
Firefighters rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
However, the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
Notably, a fire incident had also been reported on Wednesday at a house on the first floor of a two-story building in Jodukatte Siddhivinayak Layout, Karkala.
