Kundapur, Oct 5: C B Patil, ex DySP of Lokayuktha at Bangalore has assumed office as DySP at Kundapur on Saturday October 5.
The arrival of C B Patil as new DySP after the departure of former of DySP Yashodha Vantagodi has brought in excitement among people in Kundapur.
58-year-old C B Patil had come as a sub inspector at Rane Bennur city police station in the year 1981 and served as a sub inspector for 13 years.
He had served for three years in Rane Bennur, for two-and-half-years in Kundagola, for two years in Annigeri, for three years in Navagunda, for a year in Gokak and for a year in Harihara police stations as sub inspector.
He was subsequently transferred to Chickmagalur as circle inspector. After working there for two years, he was in Manvi for two years, in Harihar for three years, in Dharwad traffic police station for one year, in COD Bangalore for one year, in Raichur west circle station for one year and in Belgaum Kadebazaar for a year.
After his promotion as DySP he has worked in Belgaum in the detective department for one year, followed by one and a half year in Chitradurga and four years in Bangalore Lokayuktha department.
C B Patil who arrived on Saturday October 5 was welcomed by Kundapur Sub Inspector Jayaram Gowda and staff. He requested for support from the public and the media to enable him to work well and impart justice to the society.
