Mangalore: ‘Mid-Term ISECON-2013’ at FMMC on Sep 28, 29

Mangalore, Sep 27: “The annual mid-term conference of Indian Society of Electro Cardiology, the ‘Mid-Term ISECON-2013’, will be hosted by Fr Muller Medical College (FMMC) on Saturday September 28 and Sunday September 29,” said Fr Rudolph Ravi D’Sa, administrator of FMMC, addressing the press meet in the press club, on Thursday September 26.

“Renowned faculty from across the globe will be resource persons at the conference. We are expecting more than 700 delegates representing various premier institutes from across India. The conference is being organized as part of ‘World Heart Day’ celebrations this year. The scientific programme will cover core topics in electro cardiology. A pre-conference ECG learning course is also being organized on Friday September 27,” he said.

“Oscar Fernandes, union minister for transport, road, and highways, will inaugurate the conference at 10 am on Saturday at the Decennial Knowledge Centre of FMMC. The keynote address will be delivered by Prof Raja Babu Panwar, Vice Chancellor, Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur. The national conference, the first of its kind in D Kregion is expected to be a scientific treat for the PG student community, physicians, and cardiologists,” added Fr D’Sa.

Dr H Prabhakar, Dr Roshan M, and Dr Peter George were also present.
