Abu Dhabi, Sep 9: The Konkani Community of St Joseph's Cathedral, Abu Dhabi will celebrate Monti Fest on Thursday September 12 at the outdoor premises of St Joseph's Church, Abu Dhabi, as per the communication received from KCO.
The celebration will begin at 7:45 pm with children offering flowers to Mother Mary, followed by the blessing of new corn. The feast mass will follow soon after at 8 pm. The main celebrant of the mass will be Fr Valerian Fernandes.
After the mass, 'novem' will be distributed to all, followed by the distribution of food packets sponsored by KCO. Konkani community people are invited to participate in this celebration.
