New Delhi, Aug 19 (IANS): A committee has been constituted by the government to examine if a fair and transparent tender process was followed by the Delhi Metro while awarding a few recent contracts, the Lok Sabha was told Monday.
"The committee has been constituted after the government received some representations from the bidders concerning the tender process," Minister of State for Urban Development Deepa Dasmunshi said in a written reply.
The statement did not provide any specific details.
"Delhi Metro Rail Corp Ltd recently completed the tendering process of the rolling stock contract for phase-III," the minister added.
