New Delhi, Aug 14 (IANS): The union government is preparing a resolution against Pakistan after Islamabad passed an anti-India resolution, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Rajeev Shukla said Wednesday.
"External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid is preparing a resolution and when ready it will be brought to the parliament for passing," said Shukla.
The issue was raised by Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ravi Shankar Prasad, who contended government should bring a resolution against Pakistan and this would be passed.
Pakistan's National Assembly or lower house of the parliament Tuesday passed a unanimous resolution condemning what it called the " unprovoked aggression by Indian military forces" on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.
Five Indian soldiers were killed when Pakistani troops intruded into the Poonch sector last week.
