Konkani Natak Sabha holds singing competition semifinals

Mangalore, Aug 5: The semifinal of the golden Konkani singing competition of Konkani Natak Sabha for the children was held on Sunday August 4 at Don Bosco Hall, here.

The following competitors were qualified for grand finale:

Below 10 years:
Solo 
Olita Pinto Gurpur, Minola Saldanha Bondel, Simona Monteiro Cordel, Renita Crasta Bela and Riya Rodrigues Moodbidri

Duet:
Minola Saldanha and Shaina D’Silva, Bondel
Shaini Manisha Pinto and Vandana Joan Rasquinha, Angelore
Riya Rodrgues and Riyona Rodrigues, Moodbidri
Princia Serrao and Lenisha Moras, Bajpe
Ancita Monteiro and Velita Florine D’Souza, Surathkal

Mixed group:
Jennica Sonia D’Souza and group, Cascia
Lenisha Moras and group, Bajpe
Melrisha D’Souza and group, Nithyadharnagar
Viya Jovita Mascarenhas and group, Angelore
Joshua Sequeira and Group, Cordel

10 to 15 years:
Solo: 
Sonal Monteiro Cordel, Nihal Tauro Alangar, Jacquiline Mascarenhas Puttur, Anston Rodrigues Valencia and Aslita Rodrigues Gurpur.

Duet: 
Diya D’Cunha and Sonal Monteiro, Cordel
Soonali Noronha and Janci Fernandes, Bajpe
Lisha Pereira and Delisha Rodrigues, Valencia
Kripa Rasquinha and Jeswita Quadros, Angelore
Nishitha Sequeira and Olvita D’Souza, Kirem

Mixed group:
Sonal Monteiro and group, Cordel
Rajath Lobo and group, Bajpe
Veedal Monteiro and group, Nithyadharnagar
Greshal Quadros and group, Gurpur
Vensita Dias and group, Angelore
  
Fr Valerian Mendonca, Antony Martis and Dolvin Mendonca were the judges for the competition.

Fr Peter Cyprian D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Prem Lobo introduced the judges, Martin D’Souza, Raymond D’Cunha and Jery Pinto compered the programme and Sunil Menezes proposed vote of thanks and announced the results.
