Mangalore: Newly built house by SVP at Kinnigoli inaugurated

Mangalore, Jul 9:
St Vincent D' Paul Soceity(SVP) of Kinnigoli Parish, has completed 50 years of its existence, serving to the poor and needy people of the Society. To mark this event and to make it memorable one, the members  of the SVP with the generous help of the parishioners and donors built a new house to a needy family. 

Jerome and Annamaria D'souza of Kinnigoli donated the land in the prime spot for this casue. Eugene Dsouza who was looking for a shelter in Kinnigoli for his family was helped by the SVP members by builfing  a new house for him.

 


Donor  Jerome and Anna Maria Dsouza, inaugurated the  house. Fr Alfred J Pinto, parish priest of Kinnigoli Church, blessed the house.

In his message while congatulating the SVP members for thier great venture to provide shelter to a needy family, he said that by doing such work we can see the god in  poor and needy people.  Kinnnigoli Parishnors and others contributed  for this purpose. Let the alimighty give strength and good helath to the SVP mebers to do such work for the poor and needy people. 

Eugene Pinto, the owner of the house said that he had no words to express his gratitute to the SVP members and donors who helped him to built such a beautiful and spacious house.
 
George Saldanha, president of SVP Kinnigoli welocmed the guest and gathering. Herald Dsouza, secretary of SVP proposed vote of thanks. Joachim Pereira compered the programme.
