Mangalore, Jul 7: The renovated shop of DK and Udupi District HOPCOMS, Karangalpady branch, was inaugurated by MLA of Mangalore South Assembly J R Lobo and other dignitaries on Saturday July 6.
Speaking after the inauguration, Lobo said that HOPCOMS has constructed good infrastructure and a suitable atmosphere.
“It is quite necessary to maintain this atmosphere. HOPCOMS needs to encourage the local farmers and vegetable growers by buying their products and boost more people to take up farming and vegetation,” he said. Lobo further rendered his best wishes and urged the carrying out of development in future.
Ashok D C, corporator, and Yogeesh H R, assistant director, agricultural department, were the chief guests at the event. Panduranga Hegde, vice-president, HOPCOMS, Lakshminarayan Udupa, president, Pradeep D’Souza, executive director, Radhakrishna, T K Sudhir, Stany Alvares, and Mohan Mendon were present.
