M'lore: Hotelier Vasudeva Rao passes away in accident

Mangalore, May 28: Vasudeva Rao, a hotelier and a philanthropist passed away at Bangalore on Thursday morning. He was 86. He hails from Puthige village near Moodabidri in Dakshina Kannada District. 

Rao and his wife, while travelling from Bajagoli to Bangalore where he used to stay with his son, in a car on May 21, met with an accident near Magadi Road in Bangalore in the evening and both sustained heavy injuries and were unconscious while they were moved to a private hospital in Bangalore late night.

Rao succumbed to the head injury on Thursday.

Rao was running the famous Prasad Lunch Home in Old Agrahara in Mysore in eighties. He is survived by wife, five sons and three daughters.
