When Eshwaraswamy tried to save me, they hit him too with the cane. We were also kicked in the back and waist regions. The assaulters also used filthy words. Eshwaraswamy succeeded in escaping from there and calling the control room, upon which the accused sped away in two cars,” Damodar said at the hospital.
