Three from Dakshina Kannada among four killed in accident at Chitradurga

Chitradurga, May 26: Four software engineers were killed on the spot when their car collided with a truck on NH 4 at Kyadhigere village here on Saturday May 25.
Shushruth and Sreekanth
The deceased have been identified as Sreekanth Anekala (27) from Pandeshwar, Mangalore, Sarfaraz Ahmed (27) of Padamannur near Mangalore, Shushruth A S (25) of Akirekadu in Sullia and Yogesh of Gokulam area of Mysore. All the four were employed in Wipro, Bangalore, and had passed out from PA College, Mangalore in 2007.
Among them Shushruth got married last year on May 30. He and Sreekanth completed their MS at Manipal in 2009.
According to reports, the four were on their way to attend their friend's wedding. They were travelling from Bangalore to Sirsi. When their car neared Kyadhigere, the tyre burst and consequently the car collided with a truck.
While Sushruth, Shikanth and Sarfaraz died on the spot, a critically injured Yogesh was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to the injuries.
A case was registered at Chitradurga rural police station.
