SSLC - Mahima from Kota, Sandeep from Udupi top district

Udupi, May 6: As per the latest information, the public education department of Udupi has stated that the first rank in SSLC in the district has been bagged by Mahima H from Viveka Girls' High School, Kota, Kundapur.
Earlier, in a press note, the department had informed that the first rank had been bagged by Sandeep R Koradkal of Udupi who scored 618 marks.

The department has now informed that the first rank was bagged by Mahima who scored 619 marks and that Sandeep had come second and Srinidhi Shetty of Karkala, third.
Speaking to daijiworld, an elated Mahima said, "I am pleasantly surprised that I bagged the first rank in the district. I had prepared very well to get the first rank in school, but this makes me very happy."
She said that she studied right from day one and followed a strict discplined schedule every day. "It was not a last minute preparation," she added.
Daughter of Bhaskar Shirlaya and Laxmidevi, Mahima plans to pursue PCMB and wants to become a doctor.
She said that she always took academics seriously, and thanked her mother for her encouraging her and helping her out in her studies.
Sandeep and Srinidhi
Sandeep R Koradkal bagged the second rank in the district, scoring 618 marks out of 625. He is a student of St Mary's English School, Kannarpady here.
Son of Dr Shreesha Koradkal and Mamtha S K, Sandeep has an elder brother and a sister.
Speaking to daijiworld, a happy Sandeep said, "I am very satisfied. This is the result of my effort and hard work. I did my best and I was expecting to score around 615 marks."
He gave the credit of his success to his family and teachers.
Asked what his advice to other students would be, he said, "My message to my juniors is, when you really want something, you can achieve it.”
The third rank in the district was bagged by Srinidhi S Shetty who scored 617 out of 625.
She is the daughter of Shaman N Shetty and Suguna Shetty from Bhuvanendra High School, Karkala.
Speaking to daijiworld, an excited Srinidhi said, "I am so happy, I can’t believe it. I used to study depending on my mood. I concentrated more on understand my subjects than learning byheart."
She has two brothers.
"I thank my teachers and my family members who encouraged me so much," she said.
