Dubai: Jeevan Sequeira elected first president of United Brahmavarites

Dubai, Mar 28: Young and enthusiastic Jeevan Sequeira has been elected as the president of United Brahmavarites, UAE, a premier forum and prime factor uniting the Brahmavarites in UAE. The United Brahmavarites ever since its inception almost a year ago has dedicated its energies in community service through various activities and programmes.
The election for the new committee for the year 2013 was held during the recent annual general body meeting at Naveen Sequeira's residence in Al Ghusais.
The constitution for the association was passed unanimously before the election. As per the newly-adopted constitution the senior most member Thomas Suares conducted the election.
Jeevan Sequeira, one of the young dynamic executives of the association was unanimously elected as the president of United Brahmavarites for the current year along with the following as executive committee members:

Newly-elected president Jeevan Sequeira who is serving in the accounts department at Group of Companies for many years and is well-known in social circles for his committed service in the various communities of Karnataka in UAE. He had always been active leader in the youth movement back home in Brahmavar and had even served as the president of ICYM Brahmavar. During his college days he was also the senate representative.
It was under his able leadership that United Brahmavarites had presented their maiden programme Unity Fiesta in October 2012.
After being elected as the president, Jeevan sought the cooperation of all the members in realising the purpose of forming United Brahmavarites.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by secretary Roshini Menezes.
