Ex-Iranian president's daughter released from jail

Tehran, Mar 20 (IANS): The daughter of Iran's former president Akbar Hashemi-Rafsanjani was released Tuesday after six months in jail, Xinhua reported.

Faezeh Hashemi had been jailed last September on charges of spreading propaganda against the Islamic republic. The court also banned her from political activities for five years.
