Two dead as train collides with car near Moscow

Moscow, Feb 15 (IANS/RIA Novosti): Two people were killed when a train collided with a car near Moscow, the emergencies ministry said.

The accident took place Thursday evening in Stupino district, the ministry said in a statement.

A commuter train bound from Moscow to the town of Stupino smashed into a VAZ-2106 sedan on the Don M4 highway.

The driver and the passenger of the sedan died at the site, a traffic police spokesman said.
