M'lore: Father Muller Mourns Demise of Jacintha Saldanha, Archbishop Madtha

Mangalore, Dec 11: The management, staff and students of Father Muller School and College of Nursing, deeply mourned on the demise of Jacintha Saldanha and Archbishop Ambrose Madtha.

A condolence meeting was organized on Monday December 10 at Rajath Bhavan at 3.45 pm and the gathering prayed for the repose of the souls of Jacintha Saldanha, an alumna of Father Muller School of Nursing and Archbishop Ambrose Madtha, a great friend and well wisher of Father Muller Charitable Institutions.
                                                
In his message, Fr Denis D’Sa, administrator FMCON and FMSON said, “We are deeply saddened by the untimely death of our Alumna Jacintha Saldanha who was a staff nurse working at King Edward VII Hospital, London, on December 7, 2012. She was a student of Father Muller School of Nursing from 1984 – 1988, and was known to be dedicated and caring nurse."

"We express our deep-felt sympathies and prayers to her husband Benedict Barboza, their children Junal and Lisha and the family members. May the Lord grant them strength and consolation during this sad moments”, he said.
 
During this meeting prayers were offered to - The Papal envoy to Ivory Coast, Indian Archbishop Ambrose Madtha who met with tragic death in a road accident in the West of the country.
