Bantwal: Gang of Four Attempts to Rape 13-year-old Girl

Bantwal, Dec 10: A gang of four allegedly attempted to rape a 13-year-old girl by luring her with Rs 10. The incident took place near Okketturu near Vittal on Saturday December 8.

In this regard, the minor girl studying in Class 8 has filed a complaint in the police station.

The accused are identified as Mustafa, Sinan, Milar and Ansar. All the four are said to be residents of the same area.

As per the information received, the group stopped the girl while she was going to Madrasa near Okketturu old road. Mustafa allgedly lured the girl with Rs 10 and the four men then attempted to rape her.

When the news of the incident spread, the accused tried to settle the matter through compromise, said sources.

A case has been registered by Vittal police and investigation is on.

    'consensual clauses' are already in place , even applies to minor girls , if they are married to accused. Its betwean age 12 to 15 and 15 to 18. Check out . Court have showed leniancy upon consent of minor girls in so many cases , even it comes under ' statuatary rape. Defination of child varies state and country wise. In indian state of manipur its 14 , bunei its 12. And china its 20!. ........... And as far as men rights groups , biggest supporters are women itself. As so many innocent mothers and sisters are accused becoz of 498a. Just wait , once bills like sima and amended bill to be passed. It gives legal muscle or can say 'exclussive' rights even to men to file above kind of cases against women. Fair and final...isn't it?.

    What we women least expect of you is protection from rapists. In other words, we will not doubt that you might be analyzing whether the victim agrees or protests when a rape takes place instead of retracting the rapist. At-least teach your rapists companions, or so called male victims that sex with an underage (irrelevant to the circumstance whether it happened if the girl asked for it) is an unforgivable offense. You and your party will not succeed in applying 'consensual' word in the clause because no woman will tolerate you monsters feasting on a child ! Therefore, count all women folks opposing your request while a handful of you are asking for it.

    If you and your men want to prove your masculinity, please visit brothels leave alone innocent girls who tell you they want to experience sex. This is not your perverts' cup.

    I am glad that all those posted a comment here are MEN and they are against rapes.

    beat them to death .. do not abolish death penalty .. a minor or major does not matter if the sex is not consensual.. its rape even with married women n men..
    N even if minors know about sex it does not mean any man /woman should rape .. we need to get a strong anti rape law .. nowadays every news paper has atleast 5 rape news.. God knows how many are actually happening..

    @ Ahmed , Karnataka. Minors can't be innocent. For once look at the increasing juvenile crimes all over india , be it murder ot theft...... Irony of law is thet , even age of consent for relationship is 18 , court accepts the testimony of girl to nail the accused but not to defend the relationships. Most of times girls safe and boys only get convicted. Suppose even a man or boy dates a minor girls , he too can be mistakenely interpreted or even be framed as perperator of crime like rape. Thats the point. @ Godwin , Ksa . No m not defending goons. I think they r not goons itself , looks like case of elope. As society always blames men itself. Just look at other angle and guess.

    Rape is a rape, by consent or force. if it is by consent, both are to be punished, if its forceful, the rapist are to be punished. Ok today boys and girls have an didea at the age of 10(may be), but still the minors are innocent and the rapists are punishable either they do with minor or adult. An investigation has to be conducted and the guilty is punishable. If its a false case the person making false alllegation is to be punished more.

    Of all rape cases registeres in india , ninty percent are 'false case ' accusations , often had consent of girls. The above also looks one of them , 13 year old girl is not a 'kid ' now a days , they know a lot of this. Presence of 4 men looks wrong , but its said girls been lured with ten rupees , that does show she had consent. Remember ......TAALI YEK HAATH SE NAHI BAJTHI HE.......

    Attempt of rape is equal to attempt to murder.Rape means killing the innocent soul which desrves severe punitive action for the accused.Dont believe the court/law of the country in this matter.Locals may handle the matter to teach lesson to the culprits/accused in the fitness of the things.Dont allow politicians to handle the matter.Lesson should be such that anybpdy will shiver to attempt such crimes.
