Mangalore, Oct 23: In a daring act, a four-member gang barged into a house at Krishnapura 6th block in the city on Monday October 22 evening and robbed the residents of jewellery worth Rs 1 lac and valuables.
It is learnt that the gang members gained entry into the house of Abdul Samad, an employee of NMPT.
The gang sprinkled a form of liquid into Samad's face and even attacked and threatened him. After being unable to find any other valuables, they locked the couple and their child in the bathroom and fled from the place.
