Mumbai: 69th Annual Feast of St Paul’s Catholic Association Celebrated

Mumbai, Sep 25: The 69th annual feast of St Paul, the patron of St Paul’s Catholic Association was recently celebrated at their auditorium, Fort.

A Thanksgiving Solemn High Mass was offered at the Holy Name Cathedral Colaba. The main celebrant was Fr Naveen Mendonca.

Fr Bento and Fr Naveen Mendonca blessed the Monthi fest Nove.

Borepon, a souvenir was released on this occasion by Valerian D’Sa.

Stevan D’Mello said that he resided during 90’s and graduated and started self business with the blessings of St Paul. Further he said that St Paul will always reward for any charity provided to the association.

Valerian D’Sa said that it is really heartening to see the present youngsters doing excellent charity work for the association. Joyen D’Souza, Nelson Britto, Michael Alvares, Prashant Nazarerh, Santhosh D’Silva, Michel Lobo were felicitated for their valuable services to the association and offered them small gifts.

Organ player Henry D’Souza and prominent singer Walter Rodrigues, Bantwal entertained the gathering.

Anitha Peris and Milian D’Souza inaugurated the programme at the premises by lighting a lamp. Prominent members retired income tax superintendent Valerian D’Sa, business man and having the office overseas recruitment Stevan D’Mello, lieutenant commander Lohit Anand Sequira and senior residing members Thomas Noronha were present on the stage.

Rony R Byndoor recorded and broadcast live programme. Association president Stany Fernandes welcomed the gathering.

Honorary Secretary Richard D’Souza briefed about the charitable activities and Ryan Castelino compered the programme.
