Abu Dhabi, Sep 25: Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC), an entity of Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA), joined hands with UAE Exchange, a leading global remittance and foreign exchange brand, for making utility bill payments easier. Customers of ADDC can now walk in to any of the 120 branches of UAE Exchange across UAE and pay their electricity and water bills without incurring any additional fee.

Customers can choose to pay their ADDC bills from any of the 120 branches of UAE Exchange across the seven emirates, including the 14 in the Dubai Metro Stations, UAE Exchange is the only remittance brand to provide such a convenience to the Dubai Metro commuters.
The utility bill payment convenience is among the many offered at UAE Exchange counters, including money transfers, foreign currency exchange, payroll solutions, credit card bill payments, school fee payment and more. When customers walk in, they can address multiple financial requirements under a single roof. ADDC bill payment is the latest service added in this financial supermarket.
The event to announce this tie-up was attended by senior officials of UAE Exchange and Abu Dhabi Distribution Company, special invitees and the media.
ADDC has recently introduced new water and electricity bills payment mechanisms that include ADDC's website; www.addc.ae, the Abu Dhabi e-Government portal; www.abudhabi.ae, IVR system by dialling toll-free on; 8002332, ATMs of some authorized banks and kiosks electronic payment systems located in the company's customer services centres, ADNOC petrol stations, emirates post offices and some shopping centres.
