Mangalore, Sep 24: Shree Gurudevananda Swamiji launched the music of 'Nee-Nena Bhagavantha' Kannada movie on the occasion of Ganeshotsava festivities at Nehru Maidan here on Sunday September 23.
Preetham Sagar, producer, Sai Sagar Creations said, "Nee-Nena Bhagavantha is a movie that stresses on devotion and focuses on family incidents. We have picked up some of the miracles of Sai Baba. It highlights the importance of faith in god, and spirituality,” he added.
When one of the reporters asked the viability of a devotional movie in a market that demands entertainment, Preetham Sagar responded, "The intention is not to mint money, nor is it for the market. The purpose is to highlight the strength of God." Pointing at the success of devotional movies like ‘Shirdi Sai Baba’ and ‘Shree Manjunath’, he said, "Even devotional movies can reach larger audience just like other entertainment movies."
On the songs in the movie, music director Giridhar Dheewan, said, “There are totally six songs. While three are devotional, the rest are family songs."
The entire shooting was done in places such as Udupi, Mangalore and Bangalore within 45 days.
Director Sharath Beelinele and co-producer Dinesh Vamanjoor and Praveen Bagambila, entrepreneur, shared the dais.
