Patna, Aug 10 (IANS): At least four women drowned and 10 people were missing after a boat ferrying over 30 people capsized in Kosi river in Bihar's Madhubani district early Friday, police said.
Over a dozen people managed to swim to safety. Some were rescued by local villagers. "Search and rescue operations are on," a police officer said.
A district administration official said four bodies had been recovered.
The boat, with a capacity of 15, was overcrowded, police said.
