Mangalore, Aug 9: The students of St Agnes College along with the support of staff and administrative body took the initiative of joining hands together and appealing to the higher authorities, with regard to the road safety, zebra crossing and a cop near the college during peak hours.
On the August 4, the students of the college along with their vice principal and accompanied by the corporator Naveen D’souza, went to the district police commissioner , Seemanth Kumar Singh and placed their appeal before him.
The commissioner hereby has assured that the request is accepted and the necessities will be provided. Thus, now the hope of the students has been rekindled by the statement made by the commissioner and the long awaited need of better and safe roads will be fulfilled.
