Mangalore, Jul 10: The body of a youngster was found at Panambur beach here on Tuesday July 10.
The body was washed ashore by the waves in the evening, and was noticed by locals near the breakwater protection wall. They informed Yathish Baikampady of Panambur Tourism Development, who called the police.
It is suspected that body is of Miloez Lachowski, the student from Poland who met watery grave on July 6 at Thottam beach near Malpe.
It may be recalled that Lachowski along with five of his friends, of whom four were foreigners, had been to Malpe for a swim. Two of them including Lachowski were pulled by the strong waves. The locals and fishermen managed to save his friend, while Lachowski's body could not be found.
The foreign students had come to MIT, Manipal on a student exchange programme.
The body was taken to Panambur police station and then to Wenlock.
