Kasaragod: Online Campaign Launched To Collect Public Opinion on Development

Kasaragod, Jul 5: An online campaign 'Raising Hope for a Better Kasaragod' has been launched to gather suggestions on development from the people of Kasargod.

A commission headed by former chief secretary Dr P Prabakaran was appointed by the government recently to study backwardness and development concerns in Kasargod. The commission will visit various parts of the district and interact with the people, political leaders, organisations, mediapersons and submit the report to the government of Kerala by September later this year.

To complement this movement, Utharadesam daily, the leading daily in North Kerala in association with imsocio.com - 'an online solution network' is initiating an online campaign to formulate people's minds on the needs of Kasaragod. 

People can now log into imsocio through this link http://www.imsocio.com/posts/451 and post their suggestions on how to develop Kasaragod. Apart from this people can send suggestions through IMSOCIO  sms  in the format of 'CMPN YOUR NAME SUGGESTIONS' to 8590006000.

A compiled draft report would be handed over to the concerned authority at the end of this campaign.

About Prabhakaran Commision:

Kerala government appointed a commission headed by former chief secretary P.Prabhakaran  to draw a comprehensive  package for the development of kasaragod district.
