Tamil Nadu Police Arrest Two Bantwal Men

Bantwal, Jun 29: Two residents of Bantwal were arrested by the Piriyapatna Police, Tamil Nadu for their alleged involvement in some controversial groups, here on June 28.

The arrested are identified as Ibrahim of Nandavara, Panemangalore, and Mohhammed Haneef of Golthamajal, Kalladka.

The group is recognized by different names in each state, having secret malpractices. The Tamil Nadu police have arrested around 30 people who are a part of this gang.

It is alleged that youth of Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, including Karnataka are involved in such activities. Acting on tip off, the police arrested these people and investigations are on.

As per the information from the Piriyadka Police, the Bantwal police have gone to Kalladka and Nandavara in order to gain more insight about the criminals and to learn about their background.
Ibrahim and Haneef were part of the gang for many years. Presently they are not involved in such activities, reacted the families of the accused.
