Moodbidri: Man Arrested for Kidnapping Woman, Three Children

Moodbidri, Jun 27: The Moodbidri police personnel have successfully caught the alleged who abducted a married woman and her three children. The car which was used to travel has also been seized. The kidnapped woman has been identified as Kanaka (27) and her children being Leela (12), Latha (8) and Yogini (4). The woman was working at a stone quarry here in Matradi.

It is reported that the alleged -Ayyappa of Hosadurga in Chitradurga, Naveen, Madhu and Siddhesh, used a TATA Indica car to kidnap the woman and children.

The incident took place when Mani, husband of Kanaka went along with his brother Shiva to drop him to the bus stand. On returning home, he realized that his family has been abducted.

Immediately, the husband along with  Ashok Kumar Jain, Nithin, Jayanth Hegde and other local people searched for the missing woman and children .Accordingly a complaint was lodged at the Moodbidri police station.

However, it is learnt that the alleged knew Kanaka from before. Kanaka and her family had also worked in Hosadurga earlier. It is reported that there must be some dramatic twist in the incident.

    They kidnapped a women and her three children for few days I believe. And now Moodabidri Police Department’s days out. They will kidnap those cowards for at least one day and present them before media next day and then you see the difference, no kidnap case will happens in entire Coastal region
