New Delhi, Jun 24 (IBNS): A fire broke out in the union home ministry building in the North Block in the national capital on Sunday afternoon.
Several fire tenders were rushed to the scene after the incident was reported at around 2 pm.
The fire broke out in a room next to the one in which Union Home Minister P Chidambaram sits on the second floor, reports said.
It could be the conference room of the minister where the blaze started.
At least five people died in a devastating fire in Mumbai's state secretariat building Mantralaya on Friday.
