Kasargod, Jun 23: In a bid to bring uniformity in prices and to maintain good quality food in hotels, the government is likely to implement a law accordingly.
Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandi informed at the Vidan Sabha that the law will be passed as soon as possible. In order to regulate the constant rise of food prices, the law will be passed sooner.
With this regard, the high court has already passed the green signal. Moreover, the high court has also given orders to the government to regulate the prices of food items, if not followed an appropriate act will be passed with respect to this.
The hotel owners charge customers with prices according to their will. Different hotels have different food prices in the city as well as in rural areas. To curb the discrimination and to bring uniformity, a definite law will be passed, stated the chief minister .
